The son of missionary parents, Marcos Witt grew up in the city of Durango, Mexico where he began his biblical and musical studies. Through his music and teachings He became one of the most influential figures in the history of Christianity in Latin America. He is the founder of the CanZion Group, the largest producer and distributor of Christian music in Spanish. He has been the winner of 5 Latin Grammys and two Billboard awards. He is the author of more than 13 books and together with John Maxwell launched the project “Lidere” a program to train leaders around Latin America
Marcos and his wife Miriam pastored the Hispanic congregation of Lakewood Church in Houston Texas for 10 years, under their leadership the church distinguished as the fastest growing hispanic congregation in America. Currently Marcos travels around the world to help and inspire people to live better lives. He also serves as mentoring pastor at Hosanna Woodlands.
